ArchivesWe’re down to the final five designers on Project Runway 3, which means that after Wednesday night’s episode, we’ll know which four designers will present collections at Fashion Week. One of those four designers’ collections won’t be shown on TV, as it’s simply a decoy collection to prevent us from learning who the final three contestants are.
However, gossip column The Daily reports that one of the five designers “was overheard at Mood Fabric last week, loudly discussing [an] $8,000 budget.” That’s enough evidence for The Daily to say that person “will be involved in the show’s finale”—in addition to the fact that the person “couldn’t stop talking at the premiere party,” according to a source. That designer is (highlight to read) Laura Bennett.
The Project Runway runway show, incidentally, is scheduled for this Friday at 9 in The Promenade in Bryant Park.
