ArchivesTwo reports say that E! wants to give Bravo’s Project Runway the “True Hollywood Story” treatment, but that people close to the show won’t participate.
The “publicists for various stars of the show - as well as those who work with Bravo TV - are hesitant to let the special proceed, fearing bad blood and gossip will prevail on the tabloid network,” Fashionista.com reported last week. The site added that “if it does go forward, cerain [sic] key Project Runway figures won’t be involved.”
Today, the New York Post talks to “sources close to both productions [who] happily took anonymous shots at each other.” A Bravo source said, “We said ‘no for now,’ and someone over there got their knickers in a twist.” And a True Hollywood Story source said the show “is now all but dead” and that those associated with the show are “[t]ypical fashion snobs.”
