Bravo has picked up a new season of its hit fashion design reality TV show. The network “is targeting a premiere as early as 3rd quarter” for 10 episodes of Project Runway 2, according to Variety. Any possible changes are being discussed; Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick said, “It’s difficult when you get lightning in a bottle the first time. The challenges were great, but the chemistry of that first group was phenomenal. We’re debating what we keep the same and what we change up. I’m hoping to launch as soon as possible, but we’re going to take the time we need to get it right.” Although the show grew by 486 percent from its debut to its finale, its future was uncertain, in part due to producer Miramax’s expected split with Disney. However, Variety says “Miramax chiefs Harvey and Bob Weinstein will exec produce” along with the rest of the first-season team.
