During its brief run in theatres the weekend before last, Feast bombed, and bad.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film earned a total of $56,131 during its four-day run. During opening weekend, it was shown on 146 screens, and made an average of $373 from Monday through Sunday. That’s the worst showing yet for a Project Greenlight film.
By comparison, The Battle of Shaker Heights, the film produced on the second season, made $10,400 per screen on five screens in New York and LA. Box Office Mojo reports that it earned a total of $280,351 during its month-long run.
The film from the first season, Stolen Summer, earned $134,736 total, with an average of $61,613 per screen its opening weekend.
