Project Greenlight 3

Project Greenlight 3 debuts tonight.

Project Greenlight 3 debuts tonight.
Project Greenlight 3 kicks off tonight on Bravo, its new network, at 9 p.m. ET. Those without Bravo can also watch; AOL will stream the show on the web and on AOL proper. In addition to switching networks, the show is shifting its focus to horror, bringing Wes Craven on-board to produce—and to try to actually create a film that someone other than the projectionist will watch in a theatre. The Hollywood Reporter says that “while some will see the latest incarnation of ‘Project Greenlight’ as something of a sellout, it’s really just an inevitable nod to honest marketplace considerations. Sooner or later, even novice filmmakers need to understand that their bosses aren’t in the red-ink business. They might as well learn from the start.” And The New York Times says “again, the show is producing better television than cinema.”
