Being dumped by half of your namesake apparently makes one prone to gambling and being brutally honest about your pet projects. Such is the case with Ben Affleck, who has come clean about Project Greenlight 3. At a party to announce the third season, Ben said, “This year’s the sell-out season.” He offers advice to screenwriters, according to the Union-Tribune (second-to-last item): “What we want (in scripts for consideration) is the genre movie—if you had sex with a pie or cut off somebody’s head, we want your movie.” The VIP are of the party was, as Richard Roeper reports, held in “a makeshift area with a small bar, a table filled with deli food and a slush-covered, concrete floor with an open drain.”
