Chris Moore returns for Greenlight 3; producers want “genre” film, like horror.
Although said he wasn’t coming back, Chris Moore will indeed be a part of Project Greenlight 3. Although Ben Affleck said Chris “decided that he didn’t want to be the Simon Cowell” of the series, he will be back, but not as producer of the film. Instead, he’ll just be involved in the selection portion, according to Zap2it.com. Bravo officially announced the series yesterday; the show will debut in early 2005, following production on the film this summer and fall, after winners are selected by the middle of the year. A Bravo/NBC press release says “partners LivePlanet and Miramax are hopeful they will be able to create a series and a film that will revolve around a genre script such as horror or thriller (The past two season’s films were based on coming of age stories).”
