Battle of Shaker Heights averages $10.4K on each of five screens.
The Battle of Shaker Heights earned an estimated $52,000 on a total of five screens in New York and Los Angeles this weekend, averaging $10,400 per screen. By comparison, Freddy vs. Jason, the week’s number one movie, averaged $4,462 on each of its 3,014 screens. Still, Zap2it.com’s Vanessa Sibbald says the Project Greenlight 2 film “bombed”; on last night’s season finale, Miramax reps mentioned that they were looking for at least $20K per screen. The film opens wider, in eight new cities, this Friday.
