Contest Searchlight, Comedy Central’s reality TV show that was advertised as a documentary/contest following the creation of a sitcom, turned out to be a parody of Project Greenlight. But that parody is “so effective that it’s difficult to tell where the spoof leaves off and the reality, if any, begins,” the New York Post’s Adam Buckman writes. He says it “savagely sends up the self-important earnestness of Project Greenlight.”
