The Toronto Star’s Antonia Zerbisias likes The WB’s Popstars just as much as she liked Making the Band, but says that the first episode of the Canadian Popstars, which debuted last night, “lacks cohesion.” Worse, “not a single girl is allowed to make an impression upon viewers,” she writes.
