Popstars will debut Jan. 12.
The WB’s first reality TV series, a Making the Band-esque show following the development of an all-female pop group, will debut in early next year, airing Fridays at 8:30 p.m. Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster, who has been a producer for Whitney Houston, Brandy, Celine Dion, and others, is currently searching for songwriters and producers for Popstars.
