Like a candle in the wind, Elton John rocketed in to help the remaining tiny dancing (okay, I’ll stop now) Pop Idol 2 contestants practice their covers of his songs that they’ll perform on Saturday’s show. Contestant Mark Rhodes told the Daily Record, “Doing it in front of Elton was 100 times more nerve-racking than singing in front of Simon Cowell.” Contestant Michelle McManus said, “I had tears streaming from my eyes.”
