ArchivesThere’s good news for one of Mark Burnett’s poorly performing summer reality series: Pirate Master’s ratings improved last Thursday.
It had an increase of “27 percent over the previous week’s” ratings among people 18 to 49, Media Life reports. And overall, the show picked up 400,000 viewers: the previous week, 5.4 million watched, while 5.8 tuned this past Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Media Life notes that there was “lighter competition,” and its 18-49 ratings “is still far from a solid rating, but any improvement at all … has to be seen as an unexpected positive.”
Still, the show will leave Thursday nights once Big Brother 8 moves in. The pirates’ new home will be Tuesdays at 10.
