Glee reality series will air on Oxygen
Fox and Glee producer Ryan Murphy cancelled plans for a Glee reality show that would have aired on Fox late this summer, but now Oxygen has picked up the series to find a new cast member. It will be broadcast next summer.
Deadline reported that repeats of “Glee will be heading to Oxygen, which we hear is paying mid-six figures per episode, plus airing a 2011 reality show to find the next Glee star.” The site says that the reality competition will air “on Oxygen for next summer, which fits into the network’s all-unscripted lineup, [and] will feature contestants vying for a role on the musical dramedy.”
