Blow Out returns tonight; Fire Me, Please also debuts.

CBS imports another British reality show (Sack Race) as it debuts Fire Me, Please at 9 p.m. ET. The series concept is simple: Two morons start new jobs with the single goal of getting fired as close to 3 p.m. as possible; the winner gets $25,000. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s review, the “dreadful” show includes “a disembodied laugh track, peculiar in that it has no studio audience from whom the guffaws are designed to emerge.” The Chicago Tribune’s review isn’t much kinder: it says the show is “idiocy” and “an excuse for people to generally behave like deranged weirdos.”

Later tonight, at 11 p.m., Bravo brings back Blow Out, the reality series set in, as Judge Judy likes to pronounce it, a sah-lawn. Over six episodes, the series will again follow stylist Jonathan Antin and his staff in their new Beverly Hills salon. USA TODAY says that that “this time around viewers will track him developing and launching a national line of hair-care products,” which Antin starts whoring in an interview with Whitney Matheson.
