ArchivesABC appears to have another summer reality hit on its hands with Brat Camp. Although some people aren’t happy with the series, it debuted with 10.4 million viewers, making it the third most successful series debut with viewers 18 to 49 this summer. Variety reports that the series “was especially strong in the 9 o’clock hour, where it will regularly air, more than doubling any other broadcast net. It also showed an ideal balance among various age groups, in its final half-hour commanding a 13 share in adults 18-49, 25-54 and 18-34—as well as teens.”
Mark Burnett’s Rock Star aired its first results show opposite the ABC series, and that was watched by 4.67 million viewers. That’s down from Tuesday night’s episode, which was watched by 6.3 million viewers. Tuesday was the show’s best episode so far, after it debuted with just 5.5 million viewers.
