Bravo’s Blow Out debuts tonight.

Bravo’s Blow Out debuts tonight.
In an effort to make its Tuesday night lineup as gay as possible, Bravo is debuting a new lead-in for Queer Eye. Blow Out, airing at 9 p.m. ET, follows the opening of stylist Jonathan Antin’s new Beverly Hills salon. Bravo says that in creating the show, “producers have once again partnered to create gripping television financed by exclusive advertising sponsorship packages modeled after those created and used in The Restaurant.” However, instead of Mark Burnett teaming up with Ben Silverman to create the show, the other executive producers are Big Brother nimrods Allison Grodner and Arnold Shapiro. Reviews are mixed: Newsday says that the show “is shrewdly cast indeed” and Antin is “bright, cagey, articulate and confident, bordering on cocky,” the Arizona Republic argues that “[w]hile some of the personalities in Blow Out are interesting to watch, it’s the main one that’s the problem.”
+ also: salon owner Antin is actually straight.
