shows announce Jan., Feb. debuts.
Get ready to spend the beginning of next year firmly planted on your ass: A bunch of shows have announced their January (and early February) premiere dates. The month will start off with the crowning of the World Idol on Jan. 1. In the middle of January, America’s Next Top Model returns on the Tuesday the 13th at 9 p.m. ET. The next day, both Celebrity Mole Yucatan and The Bachelorette 2 will debut on Jan. 14. The following week, American Idol 3 will debut on January 20 and 21. The Tuesday debut will be two hours long, and the Wednesday follow-up will last for an hour. The show’s regular time slot will once again be Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET (for an hour) and Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET (for a half-hour). Survivor All-Stars will debut Feb. 1, immediately after the Super Bowl, just like Survivor Australia did two years ago. As CBS reminds us, that was “the second highest rated and most watched post Super Bowl program since the advent of people meters.” CBS also says the winner will receive $1 million; none of that charity crap for these past players.
