Messages posted on the Mr. Personality message boards calling for a boycott of the show’s advertisers were removed, according to MSNBC’s gossip columnist. After a call was placed to FOX asking about the messages, which “supplied links to the advertisers Arby’s, Chevy and Hyundai, and told viewers how to complain,” some posts were removed, MSNBC reports. Posters were apparently miffed at, as one wrote, “Fox’s choice of Monica.” MSNBC’s Scoop also reports that a source “has personal knowledge that one of the 20 male contestants is ‘basically a con man.’ The source says he has been trying to alert Fox about the man’s alleged misdeeds but each time he makes a posting on the show’s message board, it is erased.”
