fictional Push, Nevada debuts tonight.
Although ABC’s new series is being treated as based in reality, Push, Nevada is, in fact, fictional—from the nonexistent town itself to the fake web sites and press releases. What isn’t fictional is the $1 million a viewer can win by piecing together clues on the show; it’s basically Murder in Small Town X without a cast of contestants. The show is produced by Ben Affleck’s Live Planet company, which created Project Greenlight and the never-aired The Runner.
