Pop stars Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have had their newlywed life chronicled by MTV cameras for a show that debuts tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET. Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica will include their “harmless bickering” and a campaing trip, although “[t]he master bedroom was off-limits and they had limited veto power over what eventually makes it to broadcast,” the New York Daily News reports. Simpson tells USA TODAY, in a story about her show and other celebrity reality TV shows, that “you don’t really want to edit yourself. The moment when you think a fight’s going to start, or you’re going to do something stupid or embarrassing, is when you really want the cameras there. Because that’s when you’re going to get great TV—and ratings.”
