The Hackers’ mother, Susan, unsurprisingly told the TimesDaily, “Neither one of them lost. If anything, they’re both winners.” What was she going to say? I always knew my son was a loser?
Although Angela was popular throughout the competition, which began and concluded within the time it takes American Idol 6 to get through a single montage, she said backstage, “I refused to believe I was going to be the one. I was really overwhelmed when she called out my name. I’m excited this has happened. I think it’s going to sink in sometime.”
The four finalists will tour the country starting in July.
