Earlier this week, the AP noted in its story about the Nashville Star 3 finale that 10 million people voted for the winner. For some reason, that didn’t seem absurd, but it should have. That’s because their information was slightly off. Here’s the AP’s correction:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — In an April 27 story about the “Nashville Star” television show, The Associated Press reported erroneously that more than 10 million viewers cast votes during the show’s finale. That vote total was for the entire third season of “Nashville Star.”
