Brad Cotter wins Nashville Star 2.
On Saturday’s finale of Nashville Star 2, Brad Cotter beat George Canyon and Matt Lindahl to win the competition. His single “I meant to” hits radio today, and, along with the other two finalists’ singles, is for sale at Walmart.com for 88 cents. Their tour begins in June. Cotter isn’t a stranger to the music business: As a kid he recorded five albums of gospel music, “has had two label development deals, and before Nashville Star he made his living as a demo singer,” a press release says. After His involvement with American Idol, God apparently shifted his attention to this competition, as Brad says he won because God wanted him to: “I’m living proof that God has a plan for his children, and no man can change His will.” The final reairs tonight at 12:30 a.m., and Friday at noon.
