My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance

Randi Coy: “the practical joke’s on me.”

Randi Coy: “the practical joke’s on me.”
Randi Coy discovered that she not only ruined her family, as she said, but actually herself became the big fat butt of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance’s joke. When Randi revealed to her emotionally destroyed family that she’d done put them throught his as a $250,000 gift, her dad said, “This shouldn’t be about the money,” probably computing how much that really was after taxes and basically saying that she could forcibly insert the cash into Steve’s big fat behind. But then, oddly enough, Steve saved the day by babbling about how “our story” turned from one about a mismatched couple to one about the love of a family—a big fat obnoxious, meddling, your-wedding-is-about-us-dammit! family. FOX coughed up a full $500,000 for the family, and another $500,000 for Randi. The end credits revealed that Randi’s family has forgiven her, but they’re probably forcing her to use her half million to pay for their therapy.
+ also: nearly 21 million people watched the finale; the last two episodes will repeat on Thursday night.
