FOX has ordered six episodes of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, which debuts Monday, Jan. 19. The complicated, twist-filled premise involves a 23-year-old woman trying “to make her family believe that she has gone on a reality show and become engaged to ‘Steve.’” Randi “thinks that if she can make it through her wedding without admitting that she barely knows Steve, her family will get $500,000,” and she also “thinks that Steve is also a reality show contestant trying to fool his own family,” according to Zap2it.com. However—yes, there’s more—“Steve is an actor cast to be as obnoxious as possible to destroy the wedding. His friends and family are actors as well.” So basically the fake fake fiance is going to try to trash her fake wedding along with his fake family and friends, while she tries to fake out her real family while she gets fake married. Only on FOX.
