MTV pulls Making His Band, House of Jazmin; orders 16 and Pregnant spin-off Teen Mom

MTV has pulled Making His Band and House of Jazmin from its schedule, although Diddy says his show will return Sept. 12, airing Saturdays.

The Futon Critic reports that “[t]he former duo were pulled from their time periods — Mondays at 10:00/9:00c and Tuesdays at 10:30/9:30c, respectively — this week without explanation.” The network is replacing Jazmin with Daddy’s Girls repeats and True Life for Diddy’s show.

Meanwhile, MTV is spinning off its reality series 16 and Pregnant, which will air a marathon Monday. The new show is called Teen Mom, and follows up with the teens featured in the show’s first season. “Each episode … will interweave stories of four teenage girls who are navigating the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, and coming of age all while facing the new responsibility of being a mother,” according to MTV.
