ArchivesAlmost three years after the first announcement that the Miss America pageant would involve a reality series, Miss America: debuts tonight on TLC at 10 p.m. ET.
Hosted by Ugly Betty’s Michael Urie, the series follows the 52 contestants as they live together and participate in pageant-related challenges. When it was announced, TLC said that the women would have “to undo everything they have learned about pageant basics and determine if their smarts, attitudes and looks hold up in contemporary society.”
Also tonight, Lifetime debuts Queer Eye star Carson Kressley’s new series How to Look Good Naked at 9 p.m. ET. The British import follows Carson as he “teaches women of all shapes and sizes how to go from self loathing to self loving without resorting to interventions like extreme dieting or cosmetic surgery,” according to Lifetime.
