Manhunt producer: with men, “It’s not taboo for us to do crazy or wild things.”
Bravo’s male modeling series Manhunt debuts tomorrow, and in the first episode, a professional model “orders the men to strip to their skivvies and then proceeds to harshly evaluate their physiques. After that, the men are given (product-placement alert) Calvin Klein underwear to change into before performing a tandem parachute jump—in nothing but their Calvins,” the New York Daily News reports. You can expect more of these sorts of challenges, because, as executive producer Stuart Krasnow explains, “You can do things with men that you could never do with women. It’s not taboo for us to do crazy or wild things. … You can take liberties with men that you can’t take with women.” He says the series “has a sense of humor.” That’s good, because host Carmen Electra says that “[o]ne guy was putting Preparation H on his abs,” and that’s pretty hard to treat seriously.
+ also: host Carmen Electra also reportedly part of TBS’ Real Gilligan’s Island.
