Manhunt ends tonight; Jon “was one of the only anti-Bush people on the show.”
Bravo’s male modeling series Manhunt concludes tonight at 8 p.m. ET (repeating at midnight), and either Icelandic/Thai model Jon Jonsson or openly gay model Rob Williams will win “a $100,000 contract with top international modeling agency, IMG.” After embedded model Kevin Peake comes out of his A&F closet and tells the two finalists who he is, the show will help Jon and Rob get a jump-start into porn, as they will “disrobe for a totally nude photo shoot.” Before being on the show, Jon says, “I was never really self-conscious about my looks and body, but when you are told every day for a month what is wrong with you, it can really start to take its toll.” He also tells the Santa Cruz Sentinel that he was one of the few Kerry-supporting models on Manhunt: “During filming the election was killing me, I just wanted to leave and campaign for John Kerry. I was one of the only anti-Bush people in the show.” Finally, in possibly the best line ever written about this series, the newspaper says that, right now, Jon “is torn between modeling and astrophysics.”
+ also: bonus video on Bravo’s web site includes a discussion of Tate’s farts and the models imitating and mocking one another.
