Day26 stays together but Diddy releases Danity Kane’s members to go solo
Danity Kane is officially over, as its members and Diddy revealed during last night’s Making the Band 4 reunion. Last week, Diddy fired Aundrea Fimbres, one of the group’s two remaining members after Danity Kane pretty much dissolved back in February.
Diddy said that Danity Kane’s members would be released to go solo, and that the group wouldn’t be reformed with other people—it’d only come back with its original members. “I think that everybody needs a time out, but I will have this announcement: There will never be another Danity Kane unless it’s these girls here,” he said, according to MTV News. MTV reports that Diddy also “announced that he’s looking for a new girl group and starting a new show.”
After fighting all season, Day26 is sticking together, but probably only long enough so they can break apart on a future season.
