ArchivesFor the second time, Making the Band 3 group Danity Kane has reached the top of the charts on the first week of their album’s release.
Welcome to the Dollhouse, which was released March 18, sold 236,000 copies during its first week, about 2,000 more than their self-titled debut (when it also landed at number one) sold its first week.
Billboard reports that the record had “the second-biggest sales week of the year,” second only to Jack Johnson.
Their number one comes just as the end of their time on Making the Band 4, which will continue with Danity Kane and Day26’s joint tour.
