Slightly more than two months after going on “hiatus,” Making the Band group O-Town announced that they have officially broken up. O-no! In a message posted on insideotown.com, the group writes: “we had to sign several contracts that were not in our best interests. We wanted you to know that our decision not to continue forward as O-TOWN was mutual and we all still remain best friends … that will never change.” At least the boys aren’t leaving us high and dry with our liquid dreams; they’re all pursuing individual projects that will surely touch our lives. Jacob and his dreds “recently served as an honorary fire fighter to protect his neighborhood from the California fires,” Dan is “writing and producing” in Orlando, Trevor is “auditioning for both film and television,” Ashley is working on a solo album, and Erik-Michael “is all over the country on any given day.”
