ArchivesO-Town now officially “on hiatus.”
Following a concert last Monday, Making the Band group O-Town are officially on hiatus. That prompts Orlando Weekly columnist Billy Manes to eulogize the band, saying the “show is to be O-Town’s last, sniffle. Ashley Angel will not sleep with me off camera, and Erik Estrada will never beat me up.” Back in July, Erik mentioned in a radio interview that the group “will probably take a little hiatus,” Popdirt reported. He sidestepped a question about the group’s future, saying, according to the transcript, “otown is always going to be otown cuz we’re friends.” AshleyAngel.net says the group is on “a small hiatus to pursue individual projects.” Other things that you probably don’t care about from the Erik interview: Jacob got married and Dan “could’ve have possibly got engaged” (to a woman).
