Ikaika on the members of O-Town: “There was just no love there.”
Ikaika Kahoano, who left the Making the Band group after being “recalled” by his family, formed LMNT three months after leaving O-Town along with O-Town rejects Bryan Chan and Mike Miller. Ikaika tells the Honolulu Star-Bulletin that being on the show was “a wack, ugly situation,” and says that while things are “cool with them now,” after he left the show he was “bitter about the whole O-Town experience. I just didn’t get along with the other guys in that group. I didn’t respect them both on a musical and personal level. There was just no love there.” He also says two friends helped him “realize that I have this God-given talent, even though my parents tried to push me away from the entertainment life they had.”
