ABC may have given up on O-Town, but MTV is picking up the slack, airing the third season of Making the Band starting Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, the show’s new time slot. This season follows the group on tour with Britney Spears. Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross has this to say about the new season: “In [Saturday’s] season premiere, perma-pill Jacob … manages to dis everything, from the chance to open for Britney (‘I really don’t want to open up for anybody’) to the band’s new choreography (‘It’s not working!’), to being nominated for a Radio Music award (‘I would much rather rehearse over an awards show any day’). If we were him, all we’d be complaining about is our lame white-boy dreds.”
