O-Town releases CD, reminded that Backstreet Boys “despise” them.
O-Town’s album is in stores today, and along with it comes reminders from bigger boy groups that O-Town doesn’t exactly have fans among their peers. In a big feature about the group, the New York Daily News reminds O-Town that the Backstreet Boys’ Kevin Richardson told the newspaper last fall, “We despise Making the Band.” Of the self-titled album, Amazon.com says it takes “a step past saccharine pop.”
