ArchivesO-Town kicks Road Rules ass.
In a sailing competition that followed a jump-from-a-cliff-attached-to-a-balloon start, the guys from Making the Band came from behind, beating Road Rules in a close finish. Despite the MTV crew’s disses—calling O-Town a bunch of pretty boys and mocking their ages—the boy band ultimately prevailed. The prize: $12,000—which O-Town decided to give half of to the Road Rules (Interestingly, both Ikaika and Dan were MIA, which likely means the challenge was filmed during the period of time after Ikaika left and before Dan was added to the group.)
