Viewers figure out that Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance isn’t worth watching and leave
The first episode of Live to Dance, Paula Abdul’s CBS dance competition, had a surprisingly high number of viewers considering how awful it was, but a large number of people got smart and didn’t tune in for its second episode. In its regular Wednesday timeslot, which is normally occupied by Survivor, the show faced off against ABC’s The Middle and NBC’s Minute to Win It, and lost.
Live to Dance came in third place among viewers 18 to 49, about a 25 percent drop from its debut on Tuesday. Among all viewers, it came in second place in its first half-hour and first in its second half-hour, but fewer people watched: 7.788 compared to 10.23 million on Tuesday.
So, 2.4 million people got smart; how many of those 7.8 million people will abandon the show next week?
