ArchivesLast Comic Standing will switch hosts again for its fifth season, as Bill Bellamy will replace season four host Anthony Clark, NBC announced.
Perhaps more significantly, the show is bringing on “new talent scouts,” and they are comics who appeared on the show in the past who will apparently replace NBC’s Ross Mark and Bob Read. Alonzo Bodden, Kathleen Madigan, and Ant will screen comics this year.
A press release also says the show will have “an all new quest — to find the funniest new comedian in the world.” Does that mean that established or known comics won’t be eligible?
The show is currently searching for comics in the US and internationally.
