ArchivesThe continually declining ratings for Last Comic Standing 4 fell even more on Wednesday night, when NBC aired the show’s fluff-filled finale.
Among viewers 18 to 49, the finale “was down 22 percent from its season-long 3.6 average, and it dipped 36 percent from the 2004 edition’s finale,” according to Media Life.
The magazine motes the show has “been faltering for weeks, failing to show a week-to-week increase for nine straight weeks.” But for some ridiculous reason, the finale aired on a different night and at a different time than usual, and also aired opposite So You Think You Can Dance.
