ArchivesFormer Last Comic Standing host Jay Mohr will return to the series to perform on the finale next Wednesday.
His unhappiness about the third season apparently led producers to replace him with akwardly humorless host Anthony Clark.
Zap2it reports that “As recently as a few weeks ago, in fact, he told Zap2it he had ‘no interest’ in the current season.” Somehow, he was persuaded to be interested enough to perform Wednesday.
On Tuesday’s regular episode, either Ty Barnett, Josh Blue, or Chris Porter will be eliminated, and the winner will be announced on a special 90-minute Wednesday episode, as will the winner of the online competition.
