Here it comes: The fall reality TV season kicks off tonight with a couple of new show debuts. NBC brings the first two seasons of its comedy competition series face to face tonight with the debut of Last Comic Standing 3. A 90-minute “Battle of the Best” preview episode airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, followed by another new episode tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET. The comics are competing for $500,000—and bragging rights, of course. … Over on FOX, the network is giving its entire evening tonight to the debut of The Complex: Malibu. The series is a spin-off of an Australian show, The Block; during FOX’s version, “Eight couples will compete for the opportunity to restore and redecorate one of four units. … A panel of real estate professionals—an interior designer, a real estate agent and an architect—will rank the rooms from best to worst and help decide the couples’ fate: who stays and who goes. The renovated units will be sold at public auction, and the couple whose unit nets the highest-percentage profit will receive the profits from ALL of the units.” Yahoo has clips from the show.
