Ralphie May has DVD, sit-com deal, Vegas show; will have gastric bypass.
Although he didn’t win, post-Last Comic Standing, comedian Ralphie May is doing well: He has a DVD coming out (“the first double-disc for a comedian”), a sit-com development deal, and a gig on the Strip in Las Vegas. He tells the Las-Vegas Review Journal that “after the show, I became that family at Christmas that gets robbed, and the whole community comes together and builds them a house.” Until Nov. 16, he’s headlining a show at the Sahara that will also feature fellow contestants Ant and Rob Cantrell, in addition to Lahna Turner, Ralphie’s girlfriend. After the show ends, he’ll undergo gastric bypass surgery.
