NBC will search for Funniest Person in America to star in a sitcom.
After announcing plans to air a show searching for The Next Action Star, NBC says they are launching a show that will search for The Funniest Person in America. Produced and hosted by Jay Mohr, the show will “follow [10 comedians] as they live together in a house and compete for the ultimate prize—a primetime development deal with the network.” The eight-episode show will air next spring or summer.
