ArchivesLaguna Beach has now officially transcended normal reality TV fame and launched into the reality TV famewhore stratosphere. New York Times features are one thing, and Gawker bitching is another, but now a tabloid is nonchalantly including gossip about the show’s cast as if they were huge stars, which they apparently now are.
The New York Daily News’ Rush and Molloy report on the cast’s antics at a VMA afterparty in Miami hosted by Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. There, “Kristen, avoided her high-school-age castmates and set her sights higher: MTV veejay Damien Fahey. The two chatted and got pretty close all night.”
Elsewhere, having broken up with Jessica, Jason “started chatting with another girl poolside” and then made out with her, which irritated L.C.
As for Stephen, he “strutted after Kristen, with LC, as usual, trailing him” and said, “I’m not dating anyone right now.”
