And the fallout from MTV’s role in the Super Bowl halftime show continues. Besides a possible class-action lawsuit from people who claim the sighting of Janet Jackson’s breast damaged them, a school district “voted unanimously Wednesday to forbid the network to chronicle the lives of students at Laguna Beach High School” for an upcoming MTV show. Citing Janet’s halftime exposure, the school board turned down “$12,000 to $40,000, plus royalties, for college scholarships,” the AP reports. “The tenor of the landscape has changed in light of the events during the Super Bowl,” a school board member said. In this post-Feb. 1 world, you’re either with them, or you’re with the breast.
