Laguna Beach returning for a second season next year, and will be on DVD.
Despondent over the conclusion of Laguna Beach, which ended Tuesday (but repeats today and Saturday)? Fret no more: MTV has officially renewed the unscripted drama reality series for a second season. It will continue to follow the original cast, although some have left for college, and some new pretty faces will join the cast. Kristin will apparently take over as the drama queen in charge, while clinging to her relationship with (physically and mentally) distant Stephen. MTV aired a preview of the new season which promises new faces and “totally new drama.” The new season will premiere next year—and a DVD set of the first season will be released when the new season kicks off.
