ArchivesThe dumbed-down American version of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares has been renewed by FOX. “At least 10 episodes of the skein will be produced for broadcast sometime next year,” Variety reports.
The show “has proved to be a solid performer in a hellish Wednesday night timeslot,” Variety says, and FOX’s Mike Darnell praised the show for that. “To be doing well and moving up on that night and against that competition is nothing short of miraculous. I think this show is going to be on this network for a long time,” he said.
Last Wednesday’s episode of the show was watched by 6.4 million people, “up slightly from” the previous week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
