ArchivesFOX is bringing Gordon Ramsay’s original UK reality series to the US this fall. Kitchen Nightmares, which FOX previously announced would come to the US, will air in the competitive Thursday at 9 p.m. timeslot. It was initially scheduled to air in the spring.
On the show, Ramsay helps “restaurant owners in crisis with lazy chefs in the kitchen, temperamental wait staffs and few and unhappy diners” by doing what he does best: screaming and insulting. Actually, on the UK version, he’s abrasive, but not quite like his US Hell’s Kitchen personality.
In the US version, which the original press release described as being “inspired by” the UK version, Ramsay “attempts to turn around floundering restaurants in less than a week,” FOX said this week.
Hell’s Kitchen 3 debuts in June.
